Historical Compatibility

Are you looking to play some of the first party games. Microsoft’s Play Anywhere initiative enables you to purchase digital versions of classic video games like Forza Motorsport 7 and Sea of Thieves just once, and then play them on Xbox one and any PC running windows 10 as well. This seems like such an amazing offering, however, most gamers who already have an amazing gaming PC do not see any reason to buy an Xbox One. For gamers, who have a library of old games, then the Xbox One might be a better choice with this feature, making Xbox One the clear winner here.

Graphics and Performance

If these are the type of things you care about most in a gaming console, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about as both of the consoles have a 500 GB hard drive with an powerfull 8-core x86-64 AMD Jaguar processor along with 8GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon GPU. All games have and amazing look and feel quality on both consoles. However, IGN has stated that games like Shadow of Mordor and Batman: Arkham Knight plays at a full 1080p on the PlayStation 4 console, while they play at 900P on the Xbox One console. Although, Xbox One performs better that the PlayStation 4 on the premium versions of both consoles, the PlayStation 4 still comes out on top for looking visually stunning in all versions of its console.

Many years of constant updates has proved one thing; the Xbox One has evolved from an odd interface into a fast and extremely customize interface. The great thing about this is that; Microsoft doesn’t just stop there, they consistently roll out new features like the option to gift games to friends and also have immediate tech support with Xbox Assist. They also offer a way to avoid notification with a Do Not Disturb mode. The flexibility is endless and gamers love this. Sony’s PlayStation 4 also offers a simple user interface that is easy to navigate, and allows sharing of gameplay clips of up to 60 minutes. The two consoles also allow users to stream their games on other related devices like the PS Vita ad Windows 10 PCs. The PlayStation 4 takes the win again with a friendlier user interface that accommodates better sharing options for players.

From all indication, Sony’s PlayStation 4 seems to be the clear winner of the console battle. Regardless, the Xbox One console is quite a worthy contender for the top spot, and it remains to be seen if it will stay in second place for long with the upcoming release of the next generation consoles. Either way, while gamers speculate what kind of amazing feature the next generation consoles will be donning in 2020, there is no doubt that they will have fun with these amazing consoles built for maximum fun and comfort.
