Resident Evil 3: Is It Worth Your Money

People are staying in their houses amid the lockdown due to COVID-19. While there are many conspiracy theories about the COVID-19 to be a bio-weapon and a part of non-traditional warfare, there is another bio-weapon named Nemesis out in the form of freshly released Resident Evil 3. Developed and published by Capcom, the long-awaited Resident Evil 3 is a remake of the original Resident Evil 3 Nemesis from 1999.

The game is available on Microsoft Windows, Play Station 4, and XBOX One. While we’re all at home with all the time in the world, this is the perfect time for you to experience this new classic remake. More than 2 million copies have been sold already but is it worth your money? Let’s talk about a few aspects in details and you be the better judge of it.

Monster Gone Mad

To begin with, Resident Evil 3 is a horror game in which two characters Jill Valentine, and Carlos Oliveira try to survive the bio-weapon nemesis alongside the zombie apocalypse. When it comes to horror and suspense, this game can make you wet your pants. Developers have paid special attention to Nemesis character.

It puts up a great challenge for Jill with his ability to re-structure and build itself. Not to forget the flame-thrower and missile-launcher, you really will have to look out for those.

Free to Discover More

Just like the previous versions, there is a lot of free ground to discover. You can go inside the buildings, run on rooftops, go down the sewer and all of this to discover new passages. Though the original version, Resident Evil 3 Nemesis, had all of this, the remake, with such high picture quality and additional challenges, takes it on to another level.

Slice Them up

All gamers who have been playing games like PUBG, COD, or CSGO will appreciate the importance of a knife alongside fancy guns and bullets. Resident Evil 3 has included a knife as a weapon as well.

Now you can not only blow a zombie brain with a fine headshot but also sneak a bit closer and cut them in bits and pieces. This way you can also save ammo for the big boss, Nemesis.

Box Goes Boom

You can perform several new stunts in this new version. The electrical boxes will burst when you shoot at them directly and end up killing many zombies at once. This comes in handy when a crowd is rushing at you.

Excellent Graphics and Sound Quality

There has also been great commendation about the new design feature. Now the graphics will be much better than the 1999 version but there has been a great improvement apart from what just might have a technological improvement.

Jill is a beautiful character design. Her costume is realistic and attractive and so is her cheeky attitude.

The overall environment is creepier and Nemesis got some updates in its character as well. He looks more horrifying and got the new flame-thrower as well.

Moreover, Capcom has improvised sound quality. The audio in the game is more involving and very precisely intensifies each situation and scene.

You can imagine how interesting the gameplay might be with all of these features.

Nemesis Won’t Die

It is always considered as a trait of a good game which makes it challenging. It challenges your shooting abilities. You have to be more focused on your missions and all the little details. Same goes with this game, but developers have made it a little too hard compared to any other video game.

Nemesis is way too stronger. Other than the flame-thrower and rocket-launcher, he can simply leap and grab you by the feet resulting in your death. Then, of course, there are zombies as well.

Contrary to that Jill has some powerful and upgraded skills as well but turns out they are relatively less competent. But you do have all the time in the world. Practice won’t make you perfect but might help you kill Nemesis.

Perfect Dodge Problem

Now let’s talk about a few problems people have been facing. There is a quick defensive move in the game called Perfect Dodge. It allows you to dodge enemies attack but due to some animation effects, the character becomes a bit clumsy every time it performs it.

Over already?

People have also complained about the gameplay for being too short. This could be frustrating for those who spent big bucks only to find out they finished it in a couple of days. Some people are of the view that this is why the difficulty level is made hardcore, so you would spend a lot of time on each mission.

Final Verdict

The gameplay is packed with absolutely thrilling fascinations that every action-thriller gamers live for. If you think these few drawbacks will not cause you trouble, then we think you should go for it.
