It is no secret that technology constantly advances as time moves forward, and over the years, as technology became more sophisticated, video games became more advanced, larger and overall better looking alongside it. With all those improvements, naturally, video games became more taxing in terms of system requirements and today, most of the popular triple-A titles require specifically constructed gaming machines to run them properly, however, there are still video games that are good looking and fun to play without requiring you to purchase a brand new state of the art gaming computer. Many of those games are considered to be gems from the past and still have massive communities behind them, even though some of them are more than a decade old and can be played on a computer that has only 4 gigabytes RAM and an integrated graphics card. Assassin’s Creed III

Assassin’s Creed III is an action-adventure video game that came out way back in 2012 and is the fifth installment of the main Assassin’s Creed series. The game serves as a direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed Revelations and is set during the time and after the American Revolution in the mid to late 1700s. The game was developed and published by Ubisoft and Assassin’s Creed franchise remains one of the most popular and recognizable video game franchises even today.

Developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts back in 2011, Battlefield 3 is the eleventh installment of the series and the series itself is still very popular with gamers today. With a great campaign and a role driven multiplayer mode, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Released back in 2012, it served as a direct sequel to Mass Effect 2 and allowed players to even load their save game files from previous games which would affect the final ending of it as well as featured cover-based third-person shooting and a multiplayer mode.

This third-person shooter title is the third installment in the once very popular and revolutionary Max Payne franchise which is known as the first game to successfully implement bullet time into their game as a feature. While the third installment is not as popular and arguably not as good as the previous two, it does feature cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes and is still an exciting fast-paced shooting game that doesn’t require a powerful computer to be played.

Prototype 2 is an open world action-adventure video game that was developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Activision. Released back in 2012, the game serves as a direct sequel to the original Prototype and the gameplay revolves aroud the player going around stealing memories and identities of other people in order to find out about his past. The game features building climbing, jumping and killing opponents in many different ways which definitely provides the player with tons of fun and excitement.
